From Tuesday 02 to Friday 05 May 2023, the Hellenic Navy Hydrographic Service (HNHS), as a founding member of the IHO (International Hydrographic Organization), participated in the works of the 3rd session of its assembly , which was held in Monaco.
During the meeting, new technological developments were discussed, decisions were made on the future roadmap of global hydrography and mapping, as well as on the transition to the digital age.
During the same time period, the HNHS also participated with its own stand in the exhibition of the Hydrographic Organizations of the member states of the IHO, with the theme "Mapping the Marine Environment in the Decade of Oceans". HNHS's stand was voted by the participants as the second best stand of the exhibition".
