POSIDONIA 2010 - A CENTURY OF CONTRIBUTION TO THE SAFETY OF NAVIGATION

The Hellenic Navy Hydrographic Service (HNHS) participated for the firts time in the International Shipping Exhibition "POSIDONIA" (7 to 11 June 2010) with its own stand. During the exhibition, HNHS had the opportunity to get in touch with its product users and people professionally involved with the sea.

Products, such as printed and electronic navigational charts, as well as nautical publications for the safety of navigation, were demonstrated.

Personalised personnel was present in site to discuss with the people, to assist them in their enquiries and present the means of difussion of HNHS products to the public. The Minister of Economy, Competitiveness and Shipping Mrs. Luka Katseli, the President of the Opposition Mr. Antonis Samaras, former Ministers, shipowners and other professionals from the mercantile shipping  world, were amongst the visitors.
