NAVTEX Broadcast
International NAVTEX Service means the co-ordinated broadcast and automatic reception on 518 KHz of Maritime Safety Information by means of narrow-band direct printing telegraphy using the English language, as set out in the Navtex manual.
Navtex broadcasts are transmitted to ships at 4 hour intervals throughout the day from: IRAKLEION (H), KERKYRA (K), LIMNOS (L) stations on international frequency 518 KHz in the following hours UTC
