Cartography Division compiles Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs) according
to the International Hydrographic Organization's
specification s57 Ed. 3.1 These charts mainly are suitable for use by all
Electronic Chart Display Information Systems (ECDIS). Moreover, they may be
used by any navigational system capable of reading and displaying S57 Ed. 3.1
data.
In April 2004 HNHS started to release the Greek ENCs, as weel as, to provide Updating Services, on a monthly basis, through the Regional ENC Coordinating Centers (RENCs).
